Jasper

Jasper aka “The Nurturer”, an aggregate of microgranular quartz and/or chalcedony and other mineral phases,[1][2] is an opaque,[3] impure variety of silica, usually red, yellow, brown or green in color; and rarely blue. The unique artistry of Jasper is that of Nature itself – golden sunshine, a nighttime sky, poppy fields or a deep green forest, desert sands, the undulating ocean, red rock canyons, sweeping mountains.

Each stone is a masterpiece of the Creator, bold and primitive in style, solid and earthy in form, with a warm, harmonious energy that resonates with the primal self.

Jasper in all its forms is a significant stone in New Age as well as feng shui practice. Jasper is regarded as a very nourishing, warm, and protecting stone, but specific colors also impart their own energy. For example, red jasper is regarded as much more energizing than blue jasper.

Red Jasper

Zebra Jasper

Zebra Jasper is typically white with black stripes like a zebra, but it also comes in color variations like green, red and brown with white. Unlike much of jasper which are spotted, this variety of jasper is striped.

Zebra Jasper is the “anti-apathy” stone. It allows you to be optimistic, despite life’s stresses and gives you more initiative to tackle those problems. Physically, Zebra Jasper helps with kidney/bladder problems; improves skin, bones and teeth and alleviates muscle spasms.

Mokaite

Mookaite Jasper crystals come in a range of beautiful earthy colors and embody a beneficial energy to slow aging. The meaning of this stone’s name relates to the place where it is comes from, on the Mooka Station located near the Kennedy Ranges in Western Australia. Mookaite Jasper’s amazing coloration is the result of groundwater being rich with iron oxide.
